Our Story
We bought our first farm in 2004, hoping for a lifestyle change, and quickly discovered how tough olive farming could be. Labour costs were pushing many local growers out of the industry, so we began working together to make the region’s existing groves viable again. By shifting to mechanical harvesting in 2007, we created a more sustainable way forward and have since grown to manage close to 80,000 olive trees across about 45 groves in the Greater Geelong region.
Pooling our resources has given us the scale to restore these groves and grow steadily each season. With Australia still importing over half of its extra virgin olive oil, we see a real opportunity for Geelong to step up. Our goal is to produce fresh, locally grown, high quality olive oil and help put our region on the map as a leading Australian producer.
